Laurel St. & Summer U.S. Tour

In 2004/2005 I recorded a demo of songs that I intended to give only to a few close friends and family. That demo was later released on German record label Dancing in the Dark Records and titled “Laurel St. Demos”. It was re-issued domestically by Suburban Home Records and eventually went out of print.

It was “Laurel St. Demos” that started this whole accident of touring, writing and recording incessantly.

In 2008 I played for a class of 2nd graders at a Richmond, Virginia elementary school. My friend Dave Watkins recorded the preformance, and a few of the songs were released on 7″ to benefit the school. That record, called “Live at Munford Elementary School”, also went out of print.

I’m pleased to announce that the wonderful CHUNKSAAH RECORDS of the great state of New Jersey is RE-RELEASING both recordings as “LAUREL ST. DEMOS & LIVE AT MUNFORD ELEMENTARY” on one CD/LP as well as digital formats on MAY 14, 2013. Preorder here.

I’m also excited to announce my US SUMMER TOUR DATES with Cory Branan, Des Ark, and Bryan McPherson. Dates are posted on the tour section of my site, including the nightly line ups. It’s been a great year so far, and it’s only gonna get better. I’ll see y’all on the road.

And yes, a new album is in the works…

Thanks you,

Tim Barry
